You get it from exposing yourself to things
Learning, applying and experiencing
It accumulates and your mind hardens the more you do and experience stuff
Whether that is starting a gym program, asking someone out, throwing yourself off a bridge 11,000 miles from home…
A COMMON BARRIER TODAY IS 'CONVENIENCE'
Everything is instant, everything is available for delivery, hell, people don’t even leave the house to work anymore
Yet wonder why they have regular bouts of high anxiety or even depression
Because we think about doing things more than we actually do them
Talk ourselves out of it and then get FOMO
We aren’t designed to sit and stare at screens for 10-hours per day
Again, go do stuff
At the very least you’ll learn something new!
